El músico y productor de Detroit, Dave Hamilton, ya fue anteriormente huésped en este blog con la primera aproximación que desde BGP (Ace Records) se hizo a su fructífera obra. Dave Hamilton's Detroit Funk supuso un primer contacto con las fantásticas grabaciones que salieron del estudio de Detroit donde el funk experimental daba un paso más. The Detroit Funk Vaults profundiza más en la complejidad musical de este productor esencial en la escena funk/soul de Detroit, al que hoy volvemos a homenajear.
